From the outset of any project, feasibility and application concept design can be undertaken to evaluate any gas generation or cogeneration scheme. Site visits and surveys are carried out and a report generated to determine if a scheme is viable and to determine the overall benefits.

Many projects are tendered with detailed specifications, which are taken into account with proposals submitted in line with present day commercial and technical requirements. ALLENE has the ability, competence and experience to deal with any request from engine supply only, to full turnkey installations.

Every contract won is allocated a Project Manager. From design to commissioning and hand-over the Project Manager works to ensure all project installation and contractual matters are managed to specification and on time.

ALLENE has full in-house capability to design, install, commission and service long-term maintenance contracts. The supply and installation services cover all disciplines, from design drawings to endurance tests.

During the operating life of the equipment ALLENE maintain the generators with fully comprehensive operation, maintenance, repair and overhaul contracts including remote monitoring and guaranteed availability. When fully comprehensive maintenance agreements are not entered into, parts and general service support is available.

 Project Management
  ALLENE works towards total customer satisfaction through a detailed job analysis encompassing design, delivery, and installation and commissioning. The support and experience ALLENE offers includes:-

 Engineering
  In house engineering and design is carried out by a dedicated team who, with many years experience in gas engine generation, are supported by both Mechanical and Electrical engineering disciplines

 Project Management
  Every project, whether it is a single engine sale or a full green-field turnkey scheme, is allocated a dedicated Project Manager. From design to commissioning and hand-over, the Project Manager works to ensure all project installation and contractual matters are managed to specification and on time.

 Installation
  Total capability to run a full turnkey scheme has been a hallmark for Energy with the rolling development of embedded generation stations located throughout the country. On larger projects full time site attendance is provided, and in all cases CDM requirements are fully complied with whether our contracted role is Principle Contractor, or Planning Supervisor. Full civil and building works, mechanical, electrical and controls installations are undertaken under one contract.

 Health & Safety and Environmental
  Being a green energy company we also ensure we operate as green as possible when carrying out our own business activities.

 Commissioning
  Once installation works are complete the generating system and ancillaries are fully commissioned with a specialist engineer for the engine generator set together with a ALLENE engineer.

 SERVICE SUPPORT
  During the operating life of the equipment ALLENE maintain the generators with fully comprehensive operation, maintenance, repair and overhaul contracts including remote monitoring and guaranteed availability.

 Service Management
 

With overall responsibility to the Service Director, Regional Service Managers and Technical Managers ensure the day-to-day service operations are managed to best effect. The goal is to achieve the highest possible availability of all equipment under contract. Each day, dedicated operational personnel are on hand to schedule service.


 Technical Support
 

ALLENE has recognized the need for providing a “Help line” for our engineers and customers alike. Whenever assistance is required help is only a phone call away. ALLENE has a dedicated Technical Support team available either at head office for phone, fax and e-mail support, or on-site if a particular problem warrants it. This high standard of support is vital to the smooth running of operations.


 National Service Support
 

ALLENE is involved with many large companies where we supply equipment and services on a national basis. We have a dedicated National Service Coordinator dealing with such contracts, and utilizing a sophisticated ALLENE Service Management Computer system, we control and monitor their operation. This includes such areas as the monitoring of breakdowns, breakdown frequency, repetitive problems, planned maintenance scheduling, parts utilization and contract costs.


 Customer Interface
 

At inception of a project we establish regular dialogue through meetings to suit the customer’s needs. This ensures smooth running and avoids problems through effective communication. ALLENE believes these meetings help to eradicate problems at an early stage, whilst fostering improved communications and relationships between all parties. We encourage such meetings and welcome the opportunity to participate in them.
